So these are two books that I am looking forward to. I really loved Jonathan Stroud's series of books, Bartimaeus was such a great character. I also really love the illustrations of Iacopo Bruno and this cover intrigues me.
Did you ever read Jonathan Stroud’s series of book about Bartimaeus the djinni? The Amulet of Samarkand was the first in the series and Bartimaeus was such a fun snarky character, I'm hoping to find some of that in this new series too.
The Streaming Staircase looks good. I'll have to check it out if I get a chance.
