Sorry about the long absence, it's been a busy end and start to my New Year. Hope everyone had a very happy holiday. Anyone else have to brave those -32-degree temperatures in December? My cat was mostly absent that week, staying warm under the covers.
Anyway, I'm finally settling back into my routine and finishing up a few reviews that will be posting shortly. I did want to mention a few things though. Like my first read of the year and WOW what a book to start off with!! You definitely want to read this one.
Next up, I was contacted by the authors of a new Kickstarter campaign that happens to be starting today. I really like the cover and the premise looked promising.
NOTICE: Explosive content contained within. (Rebel boys and indomitable girls have always been a combustible combination.)
All the signs of Fairy's unraveling were there: a strict rationing of pixie dust; the disappearance of a magical species; a reckless reliance on spies plucked from human orphanages. Annabelle is no orphan. Her father is perhaps the most infamous man in Childerbridge—and she may never live down the shame of it, though she doesn’t believe the charges against him—not mostly. She’ll have to go to the end of Never to prove what is true…about Never itself, about her father, and her own work-worn self.

Finally, news that makes me happy... and what I'll be watching on January 27th
Again, Happy New Year and Wishing you a year of Fabulous Book Reads!! Brenda
