Cybils Nominations Are Open!

I'm super excited that the nominations for the 2015 Cybils Award are now open.  The mission "The Cybils Awards aims to recognize the children’s and young adult authors and illustrators whose books combine the highest literary merit and popular appeal. If some la-di-dah awards can be compared to brussels sprouts, and other, more populist ones to gummy bears, we’re thinking more like organic chicken nuggets. We’re yummy and nutritious."

So anyone can nominate, and with eleven categories within children and young adult books to choose from, there is something for everyone.  The only stipulation is that the books have to be published between October 16th 2014 and October 15th 2015 in the US or Canada and one nomination per category.

  
To get started go here.  If you're new to the Cybils, you will be asked to set up an account before nominating and nominations will be open until October 15th.
